thought his comment about Colangelo was really weird. why say that? Colangelo's record was enough to get him fired. but to say that he didn't get along with him and brought in someone who agrees with his view is weird.

The Leafs franchise should never forget their once proud history, no one should, bad decision on his part IMHO! Leafs will be in tough to make the playoffs this year, if they do it'll be as a Wild Card team.

yeah I dont agree with taking down the pictures either...if you want a better product on the ice, why dont you try and get better players and stop signing old guys and trading away draft picks...theres a start.

agree with this. it's a fine line between living in the past and respecting the past. but ignoring the past, for an original 6 franchise, should never happen.

I can understand why Leiweke wants to do this, but I agree with you. Respecting the history past is important to this team...It should be a reminder of how hard it is too win a Stanley Cup.

“I don’t want the players walking in the hallways of the Air Canada Centre and seeing pictures from 1962,” Leiweke said. “Get rid of those pictures and tell them, this is your legacy.”

I'm wondering if he means the hallways in the bowels of the building where the players walk around, as opposed to the public areas.

Either way, I'm not a big fan.
